  Dee-lish! According to the owner, everything is made from scratch. We started with a soft pretzel. It was the best one ever! Ham hock is yummy and all the wursts & schnitzels are wonderful. But the star at dinner is clearly their homemade spätzle & gravy. Better than noodles & softer than pasta, the perfect side dish. Can't wait to come back for breakfast!

  Absolutely delicious and authentic. We called ahead, like their website/menu suggest, to order some Ham Hock. We ordered 7 of them, since there were 7 of us going to be eating and it was an INSANE amount of food. We could have easily split it between 2-3 people.
  The sides are magnificent. The sauerkraut is tangy, and meaty, and kind of sweet which is a nice surprise; the carrots and green beans were delicious, honestly. Our friend got them because he's trying to eat more veggies, and he LOVED them, his plate was clean/ free of veggies but he brought more than half of his meat home.
  We tried their apple strudel (which was honestly just okay/ good to me, but i'm not a huge strudel fan) and their bread pudding (PHENOMENAL- it was warn, and wet, and sweet, and delicious).
  The service was decent. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best I've ever had. Honestly though, whatever shortcomings there was in service were more than made up for in the food.
  We will,for sure, be back.

  Upon arrival on a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed, but I made reservations over the phone. Sandra, the owner, went to each table to say hi. I truly appreciated that effort.
  
  I had the butter schnitzel with mushrooms, which was delicious. The meat was soft and tender. I also loved that Jagerhaus used real mushrooms, I find it odd that many restaurants out there would use canned mushrooms.
  
  Service was fantastic. I had a great experience here with great food and great service.
